ARQUITECTO

Óleo. Celia de la Fuente Cabranes
Between 1994 and 2000, I shared a practice with Carmen Cabranes, marking the beginning of a professional career that continues to this day. Since then, I have maintained a deliberately small and close-knit practice, allowing for personal involvement and close attention to detail, complemented by ongoing collaboration with other architects and multidisciplinary teams.
We work on projects and commissions of very different scales and types, with particular attention to collective and single-family housing, residential refurbishment, and participation in architectural competitions. Each project begins with analysis, dialogue and listening, seeking a specific response to the place, the programme and the needs of those who inhabit it.
Associate Professor of Architectural Design at the School of Architecture of the University of Málaga since 2009.
Several projects by the practice have been included in national and international exhibitions, including at Aedes am Pfefferberg Gallery in Berlin, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London, the Colegio de Arquitectos de Málaga, the Cultural Foundation of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM), and the exhibition hall of the Spanish Ministry of Public Works.
