Vivienda en Cala Morel, Menorca

La parcela, ubicada en Cala Morell,  está expuesta a los fuertes vientos de tramontana y se inserta en un entorno dominado por la roca y el pino carrasco.

 

El proyecto busca integrarse en este paisaje, respetando en la medida de lo posible el arbolado existente y minimizando su impacto volumétrico. La vivienda se abre hacia el norte, en busca del mar y las vistas, mientras el resto del volumen se funde con la pendiente del terreno, casi desapareciendo entre la vegetación autóctona. El patio interior, orientado al sur, articula gran parte del programa de la vivienda, garantizando protección frente al viento y un buen soleamiento, especialmente valioso fuera del periodo estival.

The site, located in Cala Morell, is exposed to the strong Tramuntana winds, and is set within a landscape dominated by rock and Aleppo pine.

 

The project seeks to integrate into this setting by preserving the existing trees wherever possible and minimizing its visual impact. The house opens to the north, embracing the sea and its views, while the rest of the volume merges with the natural slope, almost disappearing into the native vegetation. The south-facing courtyard organizes much of the house's program, providing shelter from the wind and generous sunlight, particularly valuable outside the summer months.
